The Oimachi Subway station has these little interet stations you can pay to use. I can’t imagine this lasting more than aabout 30 seconds in NY without being damaged or stolen.

Finally checked out a movie in Tokyo after almost 10 months here (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull). Unfortunately for some unknown reason all the major releases come out at least one month late in Japan even though every other country gets them at the same time as the US. Why might this be my last movie? The prcie tag. I used to think that $12 in New York was high, I guess I thought wrong. 1800 yen ($18) for a movie in Tokyo is way beyond a worthwhile price for just about any movie. Sorry Tokyo I’ll kep my movie and wait for DVD releases (well actually downloads, shhhh).

Almost Didn’t get this one.

I have had this many times but haven’t taken any pictures until now. This could very well be some of the best Sushi I have had in Japan and certainly the best value to quality. Only 1,000 yen ($10) for the large sushi lunch which has 10 pieces plus a roll and Miso soup. Unfortunately you can’t see it all since it comes out one piece at a time.
