So many western actors come over here to do ads for all kinds of products but for some reason this one struck me as odd. George Clooney in an ad for Honda with the Bee Gees playing in the background. I guess I just don’t believe he would drive a Honda, call me crazy?

For some reason the Clooney ad seems more odd than the Tommy Lee Jones ads?

I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of this years presidential election. Realizing that this was a pretty historic and important election for so many reasons I decided to take screenshots of most of the major news outlets home pages at the time Obama was declared the winner

Natsuko and I went to a MMA fight/Halloween party in Ebisu. Definitely different than any Halloween party I have been to in the past. 4 fights following K-1 rules and all you can drink, pretty fun time.

Cool Steampunk-esque building in Shibuya.

Not sure if this counts as Engrish but it sure is a peculiar name for an apartment complex.

Natsuko and I had a nice dinner at what I am told is the top rated Eel restaurant in Tokyo. It certainly was good and I know it was fresh since we watched the Chef fillet live Eels right in front of us. It also turns out that the head chef and owner is a big fan of Bruce Sprinstein though they had a live U2 performance playing that night.

Pretty good bowl of Ramen in Shinjuku, though it was a bit too oily.

I was sitting on a bench killing some time near this corner when I saw 3 different people trip and stumble on this slightly raised manhole. It really amused me for some reason.

Up until now I have avoided taking pictures of much Engrish since I feel like there is so much out there on the web already.
