Had a good bowl of ramen at a little place right here in Tsutsujigaoka. Too bad it took me so long to discover it.
No Professional Wrestling with Bears!
I was a little disappointed to see that Fuji Q seemed to do their homework and had native English speakers check their signs so there wasn’t any worthwhile Engrish to document. But I didn’t happen to see a couple of gems having nothing to do with bad English.
This sign actually says No Professional Wrestling with Bears! And in case that wasn’t enough of a warning it also says don’t tackle any bears. It is a good thing I saw this sign, It just so happens I was standing on top of a nearby turnbuckle and was just about to do a Superfly Splash with a bear when I noticed it.
Thinking about washing your hair while riding the Log Flume? Think again….
Took a trip to Fuji Q Higland Amusement park right at the base of Fuji mountain for Todd’s last day in Japan before shipping off. Pretty good park though it was surprisingly crowded considering it was a Monday and not a holiday of any kind.
This red roller coaster was easily the best roller coaster I have ever been on. Called ええじゃないか (ee ja nai ka) It is a suspension roller coaster where the seats flip independent of the overall loops.

We tried to explain to Todd that this wasn’t a ride but he wasn’t listening.
This isn’t actually American made but it had an American flag on the side so i think that makes it count. Plus it was easily the coolest School Bus I have ever seen. If I got to ride to school everyday in a Rocket Bus I might had gotten better grades (probably not).
